Cedar is a fast growing tree species, allowing for faster regrowth of forests. Cedar is also biodegradable and breaks down naturally. When disposing of, remove all stainless hardware from cedar house. Mounting pole is not included, 1/2" conduit can be purchased at most hardware stores. We recommend a rebar base secured into ground to keep pole sturdy. Mounting hardware is attached on the back to mount onto pole. To start use, place in open area at about 5 foot height off the ground to deter other animals and provide distraction free nesting sites. Maintenance is easy, simply clean house out between brooding season to keep box clean.
